Xijing Hospital is located in Xi'an, Shaanxi, formerly the Second Army Hospital of the Northwest Military Region. In 1993, it was rated as a Grade A hospital. It has successively won many honors including the National Top 100 Hospitals, the Advanced Construction Unit of the Army Hospital and the Top 10 Hospitals in Shaanxi Province.
The Pain Clinic of Anesthesiology Department of Xijing Hospital was founded in 1989. It is the sixth clinical training center of the Chinese Pain Society, a key discipline of Shaanxi Province, a key laboratory of the whole army, and an anesthesia institute of the whole army. It has won 63 national key projects in five years.
